Do I need a Personal Development Coach?

Updated: Mar 1, 2022

If you’re asking yourself that question, I can relate because if we rewind 4 years ago, I was asking myself the very same question.

At that point, I didn’t know the answer but what I did know was that:

  • Doing nothing and hoping things would get better wasn’t working.

  • Ignoring my feelings and settling for less than I deserved, or was capable of, was making me feel absolutely terrible.

  • I was done with feeling unfulfilled and stuck and was ready to try anything.

So, I made myself a promise that I would get some help and make the changes I needed.

And now here we are.

It turns out that having a Personal Development Coach was the best decision I ever made!

Coach For Women

Hello, I'm Leanne and I’m a Personal Development Coach for women and the founder of You First Coaching.

I help women, who want more, to:

  • STOP settling for less.

  • START making themselves a priority.

  • LIVE the life they really want to be living.

I would love to share more of my story with you about how working with a Life Coach helped me to go from crying in the toilets in my corporate role to being CEO of my own Personal Coaching Business, you can read all about it here Leanne’s story, but for now, I want to help you answer your question Do I need a Personal Development Coach?

The honest answer is no, you don’t. You could do it alone. Many people do BUT before making the decision around whether you want to go at it alone, I invite you to reflect on your personal situation and what you want to achieve and answer honestly, the following questions:

  1. If you were going to do it on your own, why haven't you already?

  2. Do you want to make progress quickly by working with someone trained and qualified to ask you the questions that will help you find the answers you so desperately need to move forwards, or are you happy to take your time to figure it out for yourself?

  3. Do you want to carry out years of Personal Development research and create yourself some proven frameworks, strategies and exercises to help you make the progress you need or would you rather use mine?

I hope this has made things clearer in your mind and you now know whether you want to work with a Personal Development Coach yourself.

If the answer is yes, you would like some support then I would love the opportunity to talk to you about what you are looking to achieve and how my coaching could help you if we work together.

I completely get that investing in a coach is a big commitment, so it has to be right for you, that’s why I offer everyone the opportunity to have a complimentary 30 minute chat with me to ask any questions.

I open a handful of slots every week for these calls so if you would like to grab one, you can book yours now.

Look forward to speaking soon.
